CHASP director and LBJ School of Public Affairs professor Dr. Cynthia Osborne is one of the nation's top child and family policy scholars. In 2011, she founded the Child and Family Research Partnership (CFRP), a non-partisan policy research group specializing in program evaluation which has grown into the largest research center at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Dr. Todd Olmstead: New Paper on Using SBIRT and e-SBIRT to Reduce Substance Misuse by Women

Women are at the highest risk of developing a substance use disorder during their reproductive years (18-44), yet 85% of those who need care for substance misuse neither receive it or feel like they even need it. Reducing substance misuse for this group is especially critical as these women may be either pregnant or contemplating pregnancy.
